TERMS OF SERVICE

Please read these terms carefully before using BlueprintForge products and services.

Last updated: March 21, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By purchasing, downloading, installing, or using any BlueprintForge product ("Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Software.

BlueprintForge is developed and published by Open Circuit ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"). These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and the Company.

You represent that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

2. License Grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Open Circuit grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Software for the purposes described herein.

BlueprintForge products are distributed through the following authorized marketplaces:

  • Fab Store (fab.com) — Unreal Engine plugins
  • Unity Asset Store (assetstore.unity.com) — Unity packages
  • BlueprintForge Website (blueprintforge.studio) — Direct purchases

Your license is governed by the terms of the marketplace through which you acquired the Software, in addition to these Terms. In the event of a conflict, the more restrictive terms shall apply.

3. Permitted Use

You may use BlueprintForge products for:

  • Personal projects — Learning, prototyping, and hobbyist game development
  • Commercial game development — Creating and shipping games, simulations, and interactive experiences for sale or distribution
  • Internal tools — Building development pipelines and workflows within your team or organization

Games, applications, and content you create using BlueprintForge are entirely yours. We claim no rights to your output, game assets, or intellectual property created with our tools.

4. Restrictions

You may not:

  • Redistribute, resell, or sublicense the BlueprintForge plugin source code, in whole or in part
  • Share your license key or account credentials with unauthorized users
  • Remove, alter, or obscure any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices from the Software
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software beyond what is permitted by applicable law
  • Use the Software to create a competing product or service
  • Redistribute tool schemas, MCP server code, or bridge components as separate products outside the licensed suite

For team or studio licenses, usage is limited to the seat count specified in your license tier. Each developer who uses BlueprintForge requires a valid license.

5. AI Provider Keys

BlueprintForge operates on a bring-your-own-key (BYOK) model. You provide your own API keys from third-party AI providers (such as Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, or others) to power AI features within the plugin.

Open Circuit does not:

  • Store, transmit, or have access to your AI API keys on our servers
  • Proxy your AI requests through our infrastructure
  • Monitor, log, or retain your AI conversations or prompts

Your API keys are stored locally on your machine and communicated directly between the plugin and your chosen AI provider. You are solely responsible for managing your API keys and any costs incurred through your AI provider accounts.

We are not liable for any charges, data loss, or service disruptions caused by your use of third-party AI providers.

6. Intellectual Property

The Software, including all code, design, documentation, tool schemas, and branding, is the intellectual property of Open Circuit and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.

The BlueprintForge name, logo, and associated trademarks are the property of Open Circuit. You may not use our trademarks without prior written consent, except to identify that your project was built using BlueprintForge.

Open source components included in the Software are governed by their respective licenses, which are documented in the Software's attribution files.

7. Limitation of Liability

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, OPEN CIRCUIT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR USE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SOFTWARE.

Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Software in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

8. Modifications to Terms

Open Circuit reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.

Material changes will be communicated through the BlueprintForge website, plugin update notes, or email (if you have provided one). Your continued use of the Software after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you must stop using the Software.
